CASE RECOVERY

An instruction agent will re-establish contact with the claimant and obtain new contact details.  If contact with the claimant cannot be made by phone the agent would “cold call” at the address supplied leaving a letter asking the claimant to contact the agent or Client as soon as possible.  The agent would also make enquiries with neighbours to establish if the claimant still lives at the address and provide photographic evidence of the visit.  If contact with the Client is not re-established no invoice will be raised.

• Re-establish contact with the client
• Provide new contact details
• Complete and collect appropriate forms or documents as required
• Collect ID for the client. ID sheet and ‘True Likeness’ form
• LEI investigation with LEI checklist and clear copies of insurance documents,

If contact with the client cannot be made by phone the agent should cold call at the address supplied leaving a letter asking the client to contact the agent (see below).  If there is nobody at the property the agent should speak to neighbours, if possible, to establish if the client still lives at the address.
